OS Pop-up windows in German. Yet OS in English

My OS language is in English. Except for the small pop-up windows such as " MICROSOFT PAINT" SAVE AS or th
what I'll call "DO YOU WISH" windows. (It is not just limited to Paint). I would like to tell you exactly what they say but I cant because thier in German
Some how I have a corrupted or transfered the English file for these windows. It is the only part of my OS that speaks to me in another language. Unfortunatly I can not read German. Can you please help...
 
Robert, I have a similar problem but all my boxes in Paint have Chinese or Japanese!
