Thanks for your help
I have 2 hard drives C and D , The C drive was my main drive, and the D
drive I used for storage. I had some major problems with the C drive and
could not access it. I installed xp operating system on the D drive so I
could access the files on the C drive to back them up everything went fine.
After 3 hours with microsoft we decided to format the C drive and install the
xp operating system on it, everything went fine, updates, sp2 and so on. Now
I decide to format the D drive and use it for storage again.
Now my Problem
At bootup I am still getting a choice to which os I want to start, There is
no os on D

Thanks

Try the following:

Type: MSCONFIG on the Start-Run line,
Click the BOOT.INI tab,
Click Check All Boot Paths button,

It should tell you if there is a bad boot path and you can delete it.

Thanks Jerry it worked fine
