1) You are in the wrong group for that question.

2) Switch to Opera, you can modify the browser and OS version by hand in it.

3) You are in the wrong group for that question.

4) What difference does it make? You got a firewall doncha? Dont trust it?

5) You are in the wrong group for that question.

6) Many web sites use those statistics to make their sites better, or to
tailor a site so it looks good to you, good thing you are an un-cooperative
jerk and don't want to do that.

7) Did I mention you are in the wrong group for that question?

Who cares if they see your OS and browser? Many companies use programs like
siteminder or webtrends to see what visitors are viewing and what they're
viewing it with to improve content. If you're running a firewall, your
personal info about who you are can't be gotten anyways. Besides, unless
you want to operate like the CIA and go through a proxy server to mask your
ISP, you leave a lot of tracks anyways, just not personally identifable
info, mostly.
