In my haste to beat the blast32worm from shutting down my
computer, I foolishly forgot to write down the original
settings for Recovery tab settings.

Can someone please look it up for me:
click start button, Right click the My computer, click
Manage. The Computer Management window opens. In the left
pane, double-click Services and Applications and then
select Services. A list of services appear. In the right
pane, locate The Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service

NB NOT THE Remote Procedure Call LOCATOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!

RIGHT click the Remote Procedure Call Service and click
Properties. Finally click the Recovery tab. There should
be 3 lists First failure, Second failure and third failure.
I have changed them to "restart the Service" in order to
allow me time to get the tool and patch. But now I don't
remember the original settings.

Please can one kind soul help.

Hi John,
Thanks for the comment. So was that the original
settings. For all 3 "restart the Computer"?

I had the wretched worm, that was why I had to do what I
did to get the tool and the patch. All sorted now I hope
except for the window with "Generic Host Process for Win32
Services". I have done everything but it is on the screen
like a leech. Do you know how I can get rid of that?
