I reinstalled it to bring back some memories but with my new 9800 pro I
can't play it. I have the latest drivers from ATI.

It installs but when I start the game it hangs,

Does this game work with the 9800?
It played fine on my ti4200 card. Hummm...

Hi,

I played Half Life 1 on my Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro
with the Catalyst 4.3 drivers some weeks ago and it
worked fine, maybe you could try to downgrade your Catalyst drivers?

Did you applay all patches for Half Life?

If I remember right there's an option for glide (3dfx), make sure you use
d3d or opengl in 3d acceleration.

Yes it works perfectly.I have HIS Iceq Radeon 9800 pro with Athlon XP 2800+
and i have no problem playing Halflife or Counterstrike etc.
