Hello everyone,
After 4 months of being shut down we are back up (with most of our data
lost) and have moved to our own server.

Please check out www.excelforums.com

We post to the forums as well as these USENET forums. Fresh downloads
every 15 minutes.

Cheers

Well, I looked. At least the color scheme is less jarring than
ExcelTip.com. OTOH, the large button-looking + signs are confusing since
they don't do anything.

Not sure what "We post to the forums as well as these USENET forums"
means - looks to me like you simply provide a web interface to nntp. In
fact, the "original" in "Original Excel Forums" doesn't seem to add
value.

However, no m.p.e.worksheet.functions? no m.p.e.charting? no
m.p.mac.office.excel? And it's still a *slow* web interface. Ho Hum...

BTW - I'm not your "guest" - my posts aren't related to your "forum" at
all except that you repackage it.

Adding value. Hmmmmf. Such newsgroup postings rehashed
as web pages eventually detract from web page searches, and
simply repeat information that is already searchable in newsgroup
archives. Web searches and Groups searches are two different
searches at Google.

There is no signing up required to submit, or view newsgroups
posting directly to/from the Microsoft newsservers and there is
no signing up to see archived newsgroup postings at Google Groups.

I hope Google realizes the impact and suppresses all hits to such
websites from their Web search engine.

Like John's reply this was also posted from newsgroups with a
newsgroup reader, not from any web based interface.

But let's face it the real purpose of such sites is to spew out
advertising for what you can see for free without advertising
by posting directly to newsgroups.
