Orig. Close Combat conflict

Has anyone been able (or even tried) to install the
original Close Combat on XP Home Edition? I tried
straight up installation, which doesn't work, and the
Compatibility Wizard, but it couldn't make a proper
conversion. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the tip, but they don't have a record of it
working on XP... only a couple records saying it
wouldn't work... :(
