I'm running Windows XP PRO. There's a folder
for "Favorites" in "My Documents" that looked the same
as "Favorites" in Internet Explorer. I organized
the "Favorites" folder in "My Documents", but those
changes don't show up when I open Internet Explorer. Why?

from google search for "Organize Favorites"

Use Favorites to Get Around the Web
.... On the Favorites menu, click Organize Favorites. ...
Organize Favorites box; Drag
to move individual Web pages or other Favorite folders to
the new folder. ...

this is one single with no breaks

Best to organize them in IE>Favorites, instead, Joel. When working in your
Favorites folder, you can drag links into subfolders but ordering the
display of Favorites in the dropdown or sidebar menu must be done in IE.

An application may not do what you think it should do, it just does what it
does. Play by its rules, not yours.
