Organize queries into folders.

Does anyone know how to do this? I've tried with no luck. This would be a
HUGELY useful feature.

I don't think you can in the database window. Typically, if this is
important to you, you would build your own interface that the users could
access to run the queries. Basically, you'd build a switchboard of sorts to
organize the items into groups or submenus.

In most cases, my users never see the database window, just the forms that I
build to help them navigate.

Hope that helps.

I do agree that more organizational ability in the database window would be
nice, but I think Microsoft feels that Access is more of a development tool
and they don't do a lot with appearances in the database window, tables, and
queries. They tend to concentrate more on the forms and reports.

Hi,

With 2003, you can define "Groups" in the database window (right click on
the pane), and drag query to it (that will generate shortcut of the query).

Hoping it may help,
