organising collections

Every video clip I take goes into a new collection.
I can't seem to get them all together in one.
This is frustrating as I have to click on each collection individually to
get a thumbnail.
I'd really like to see all the clips together so I can drag and drop onto
the timeline rather than go through every one separately.
Any suggestions?

Once the clips are imported you can
copy/paste or drag/drop the clips into
the folder of choice.
