I have followed the instructions in KBA 293615 so we can
use Org Chart 2.0. Problem is it only works when logged
on as admin. It does not change it for the machine. I
gave the user admin priviliges and followed the
procedure. When they log off it no longer works. Can I
change for the machine instead of user? Is there a work
arround for this?
Thanks

Hello William,

The requirement that MS Organization Chart 2.0 to run with Administrator
rights is one of the many reasons why we have discontinued shipping it with
Office.

Here's a KB article from Office 2000 which provides a workaround:

Hello, I had this same issue, the only problem I have with
this is that I could not allow the user to have theses
kind of file access rights, but anyway. Copy the
MSOCLIP.232 and the MSOPREP.232 to the Windows root folder
and allow the access to everyone or all users. Then allow
the same rights to the SYSTEM32 folder and all the file
contained therein.
