Hello there,
It sounds as though the original DLL has in some way been corrupted/overwritten
or even deleted from the location it was expected to be in.
The DLL should be located in c:\program files\movie maker and should be 161 KB
if it is for version 2.1 of MM (meaning you have installed SP2) and it should
also be version 1.1.2427.1
The DLL is on the default search path so even if the registry has been damaged
in some way MM will still find it....that's all to do with how windows works. I
am sure if you ask, some one will be able to give you a copy. If you want you
can contact me on my website and I can zip up a copy and send it to you.
If you don't want to do that then try installing SP2...again/first It would be
a good idea if you got SP2 off a CD...internet install are not always
successful in these circumstances.
