Order of PP slide

How do I correct the order of the slide? The text is coming up line one,
then line THREE, then line two. I know there is probably a very simple
solution, but this is the first I've come across this problem, so I'm not
sure how to fix it.

Sounds like you are using PPT XP or 2003. Open the Animation Pane, click the
arrows below the text animation to expand and see all animations, click-drag
text to the order needed.
