Still really want to know why order changed -
But yes - I lost my mind - there is a date and time format
put all paramters prompt in except for last 2 - just fall into place after
other 6 done - is that okay?
and again - do you know why the order of prompt changed????
thanks,
Barb
:
I tried copy and Pasting from the queries into the Properties of the design
of the Main Query that feeds the form - I can copy but won't let me past the
Prompt Criteria in - When i enter in the parameter Between [Write up Start
Date] and [Write up End Date] - that is not correct
Tried to just type Write up Start Date ( it is a Date/Time data type) not
sure on list what data type it is don't see Date/Time and it is saying Text
is wrong data type.
Again - really would love to know why the Order Changed????
Please help.- very frustrated

Thanks,
Barb
:
So if I understand correctly - just copy the prompts and leave them Also in
original locations -
do you know why the prompt order Changed when NOTHING was changed or
saved??? and design view order of fields and tables are identical?????
really would like to know- why this happend?
Thanks,
barb
:
What Clark said was to open the query (not master). Copy the prompt and then
in the Query Menu, select Query / Parameters (A2007: Design Tab / Parameters)
and paste the prompts in the order you want them to be used.
Explicitly enter the values in the desired order of firing.

Thanks for helping but when I go to the Parameters nothing is listed since
they are actually prompted by the entering the [Invoicedate], [jobdate] etc,
into the queries themselve that feed into this Master query. when I look at
the design view order if of tables, order of fields are all identical. there
are so many parameter inputs 8 that would prefer not to reAdd - and how would
the master query handle that when already in the other queries that it is
based on???
thanks so much for helping any other ideas -

I just went and Looked behind the design view on the Main query that a Form
was based on - I did not save it or change anything- Not of the actual
parameters are in last step of the main query - they are queries that the
Main ones pulls fields from - all query names stayed the same?? Now the Order
of the 4 different parameters is Reversed??????? any way I can change them
BACK????? or why they changed in 1st place???
thanks,
