Order of Favorites in folders

When I open a favorites folder, I find that some automatic alphabetization
has taken place. (In other words, most of them are listed in alphabetical
order.) Is there any way I can turn this "feature" off? I'd like the items
to be listed in the order I put them in the folder.

Open the folder and rename the files. If you add a number in front of each
file, the sorting will sort first by numbers and then by letter. For
example "1tellme" will come before "2allright". Then you can have any
order you want.

Am I to take it that the alphabetical ordering is an untoggleable
"feature" of OE? I don't remember this happening before - was it added
to the new version?
