How can I select/change the order of addresses in an autocomplete drop-down list that appears on the To: line when I start typing a name and there are several addressess witht he same first name? For example, when I type Joh, John One and John Two appear in that order, but I'd like to see John Two first to facilitate autocompletion without having to scroll down to it. The motivation is to have an internal/more often used addresse first and to avoid sending e-mail messages to the wrong people... <G

You can't change this. The order is by "last used" which makes sense as it
is a cache not an autocomplete.

Thanks for your reply. If it pops up in order of the 'last used', I don't understand how come old addresses almost never used constantly pop up on top of my everyday addresses. Something doesn't compute in my installation... Any othe rideas?

Nope, I often fail to see the logic in the cache as well but I just went
around the alphabet and from what I can remember all the addresses I used
last were at the top for me. I'm running Outlook 2003 so they could have
changed it between versions.
