You might want to use the Outlook Bar (or the Navigation Pane in Outlook
2003) to create shortcuts to your favorite folders and then you will be able
to order the shortcuts any way you wish.

You can do this but you still have those huge ugly blue buttons on the bottom which you can't get rid of. You can crush it down to a single line so it's only 1 small row of ugly blue buttons but still... why did they gimp so much of the customization for this version
Also when you switch to the calander it bumps your shortcuts down below the monthly calander, which is confusing. Is there any way to change that? Every other version of Office programs since like 97 let you drag & resize just about anything, this version seems like a step backwards...
