Orange (UK) emails and Windows mail

Hi Guys,

This is a real weird one.

I have Windows Mail and when I go and get my emails from Orange (UK) they
download ok ... BUT ... they remain on the server even though I do NOT have
"leave a copy of the message on the server" ticked ... (it's currently
UNticked)

I have tried ticking it, (then sending & receiving) then unticking (then
sending & receiving) ... but no way will it remove the emails from the
server once they have been download.

Even weirder ... once downloaded, they do not download a second (or
subsequent) time ! ... so the server knows they have already been
downloaded!

I have another machine with XP ... (with identical settings as Windows Mail)
.... and that gets my emails and then removes them from the server ... so it
HAS to be something inside Windows Mail .... aaarrrrghghghghgh !!!


any help is greatly appreciated as this account gets about 100 emails a day
....mostly junk!)
