I currently have Orange Broadband and I use two desktops running
Windows XP Professional SP2.
How can I use a Remote Desktop connection, how can I connect to one
workstation?
Enable remote desktop on the computers. ("How to enable Remote Desktop in
Windows XP" would be the google search term...)
Setup your router to forward to one or both. If you choose to forward to
both, you will have to change the remote desktop listening port on one of
them with a registry edit. ("Port Forwarding" would be the google search
term - along with the make/model of your router.)
Make sure the firewall (software) is setup on the machines to allow remote
desktop through. ("How to configure the Windows Firewall to allow Remote
Desktop" would be the google search term.)
Know your external IP address (the one your router gets from the ISP).
(Look into "Dynamic DNS" along with the make/model of your router.)
Need a one-stop resource (more or less)?

Now you know the search terms you might use and have a general idea (and
some specific instructions...) - come back and let us know how things work
out!
