Option to make folders available off line unavailable.

Hello-
I am trying to make folders available off line for a user
using Outlook 2k. They originally had Outlook 2003
installed and it was conflicting with another program
they had installed. So, to keep it simple I just
installed Outlook 2k.
This user has a laptop and wanted to have her folders
available off-line. Not a problem, I thought, accept the
way I normally do it is ghosted. Any idea why and how do
I make her folders available off-line??

Thanks in advance

OK, she does have and ost file on her laptop, 147mb. I
think she must have synchronized her emal when she was
using the newer version of Outlook. When I tried to
synchronize, i get a message saying that the version of
the .ost file is not compatible with this version of MS
Outlook offline folders info service, blah, blah, blah :)
I tried to remove the ost file from the location and
still got the same message. What next?
Thanks!

A new profile would probably be the quickest solution.
