I am using Outlook 2002. The check box to use my contacts as the address book
is dimmed, but the box below lists "Contacts" as the name of my address
book--although "Contacts" is also dimmed.

I have tried to add an address book (none exist right now), but the message
I receive is "The account you have added it not fully configured. It might
not work propertly until reconfigured correctly." This happens for both OAB
and PAB selections in the Email Accounts selection. It does not allow me to
continue.

I've searched everywhere and can't find a solution. Thoughts? Thx.

Provide the rest of the information on why you have a profile that has not
been configured. Message suggests you do not have a valid transport, valid
data store or both. State how you configured your transport and data store.

This issue started when I transferred my pst from my desktop pc to my
laptop--same programs. The address book was initially there, but in following
some of the help links, it told me to delete the address book and then add a
new one. Have not been able to add a new one. I don't know what you mean by
transport or data store. Upon importing the pst file, I directed outlook to
find the new one and email has been fine.

You've damaged your mail profile by importing. Never import a PST. Open
it.

You need to add the Outlok Address Book service to your mail profile.
