After using moviemaker on of the option box is left on my screen. I have
tried closing the program, restarting and the option box is still there. ???

Hello,
The symptoms describe suggest a very bad instalation resulting in a failure to
refresh your video display. You should as a first step go to the website of the
manufacturer of your graphics card and get the latest driver for your card. If
that does not solve your problem you grab the latest copies of DirectX drivers
from Microsoft.
