Optimum Size for Cache?

Is there a recommended size for the size of the "Temporary Internet Files Folder"
(cache) for performance?

If the cache is too large, the OS wastes times looking up pages, if it is too small, not
enough is cached, right?

Are there any recommended sizes?

Between 50 ~ 100 MB.

as I remember it was the size recommended by PC Pit Stop. a site that offers bench marking for the PC.
