optimising software

Hi,
Their is so much software out their for optimising windows XP, I am
getting lost. Can anyone recommend any good software for this job, that
works well with Windows XP. Also I have seen software called "speed up
my PC", has anyone ever used this and if so is it any good.Thanks.

Thanks I will have a look at that. What do you think about Norton
systemworks. I have heard some people say it is not much good.??
