I'm considering buying a PS/2 Labtec optical mouse with scroll wheel,
but I'm wondering whether the scroll wheel will work in win95, and also
if the mouse will work in DOS with my old DOS drivers for regular PS/2
and serial mice (no need for the scroll wheel there). Any hints?

I don't know about Win95, but suspect it'll work with the right
driver. If the labtec driver won't scroll in Win95 then I'd try some
other driver (different manufacturer like Logitech or Microsoft or
....).

The DOS driver should work fine for any PS/2 mouse.
