Optical Drive Problem !!!

Hi Guys,

I just installed XP home on a new pc and that went fine however now
that I am in XP I cannot see the optical drive under My Computer. What
can I do to see this drive as I would of course need it to install all
the drivers and such. Under device manager the drive is listed but of
course with the yellow exclamation point. I must have done something
wrong but can't figure it out. How was the pc ablt to find the optical
drive and install xp in the first place if I cant see it now under my
computer? I am a novice at this so any help would be appreciated.
 
Sorry , my mistake..I was looking at a different post at the time, do not
disable onboard video, disregard the last line, again sorry..

What was the error code in Device Manager in the adapters properties, general
tab..? Use the link below for help..

Did you disable the onboard video..? You should..

I think something is wrong with the optical drive. Will be bringing it
back to Best Buy to exchange or get another one. The error code was 10
by the way. I can see it fine now however I still cant read anything
from the drive
