The "good-news" is that all of the BCM users seeking to grow their business
in the real world can just ignore this very important customization feature
(Opportunity) for a whole year yet ... or look elsewhere for a solution that
better meets their customization needs here today in the present.
Audey's comments above are well taken but the nature of the demand of a real
world BCM user and the subsequent hassle of data migration does not make it
easy to be able to just wait another year. It seems like the Redmond
Labratory mentaliity easily forgets that a decision such as choosing an
application like this is not made easily and once made is not easy to change
later after "waiting." Meanwhile, Microsoft BCM loses more potential users
while its design eventually "might" get around to incorporating some of these
very important features.
