Opinions on AntiVir Personal Edition

This looks like a pretty good alternative. Any opinions?

I maintained AntiVir for a year. It seemed about as good as other
free AVs. It never gave me any problems. It has large def updates
like most AVs which take too long over my modem. AVG very recently
re-designed to where their updates are small now. It may be a better
way to go than AntiVir. If you're on cable, def update size is not
relevant to the decision.

Of the six I had on my last computer, I narrowed the free AVs down
to just Avast. Timely updates that only take a matter of seconds.
My primary is ETrust, cheap and fast.
