Opinions on A7V8X?

I'm thinking of getting one of these and I'd be putting a 512 stick of DDR
PC2100 and a Radeon 9600 video card on it along with my hard drives and
CDROM. Am I asking for trouble?
 
Not sure about the Radeon card, but my A7N8X rocks!!. My 2100xp was running at 2.2 mg for several months but now have turned it down, problems with video card.
Just order me FX5700 ultra Golden Sample, replacing my TI4200

I'm using a a7v8x-x. I had problems with it using elixir ram. I
replaced it with Samsung and that solved almost all the problems. I
also got rid of the onboard sound after the line in died for no
apparent reason.

All I can say is be sure that your Ram is compatible.
 
Great motherboard. Just built a system with an AMD2000, with PNY 2700 ddr

could you tell me if your agp slot is running as a 4x slot not 8x...
i have try all the setting and i cant figure how to set my agp slot to
8x i got a fx5200td video card and it compatible with 8x agp fu....g
slot.

i know that people wont generaly notice the use of it in terme of
performance but hey, i'ave pay for it so i would like it to work.

so on you side whats your system saying? with aida32... with all the
possible setting in your bios?
