Hi folks. I installed a number of required hotfixes to a Windows 2000
Professional workstation. After doing so, I'm getting the following
error from a locked down account (only 2 applications; can't use RUN;
no REGEDIT, etc.; administrator account is fine):
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on
this computer."
The 2 applications in the users automatic startup come up fine. The
error above occurs before they come up. I've done a search of Google
and couldn't find NoBrowserOptions in the registry. System is isolated
from the Internet, so there is no spyware.
How do I find out what is trying to run when this account logs in? (it
must be related to one of the hotfixes)
Thanks. Grant.
