Hi all,
Since I have upgraded my XPe image to SP2 I've got a problem with the
dynamic throttling of CPU speed.
Now the CPU clock frequency is static and runs always with maximum speed.
The Result is a very hot device that consumes a lot of energy.
Since we are using this device within a car, the power supply of the car is
unnecessary heavily loaded.
With SP1 the CPU speed throttling has worked proper.
I have found something along those lines on the page
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=326863
concerning XP professional and XP home edition.
Well since XPe is based on the same binary I guess, that the same bug is
also within XPe Sp2.
I can't find a bug fix on the official XPe homepage
https://microsoft.embeddedoem.com.
So is there a workaround to that problem???
How can I fix that it???
Thanks
Jens
