When my Windows XP home edition PC is booting up, right
after the blue "DELL" letters go away a menu comes up
asking what OS I want to launch. Both choices are Windows
XP Home Edition, and I always choose the first one
because that's where all my stuff is. Is there any way to
get rid of this menu and just go straight to Windows?

Go to Control Panel and click on the System Icon. In the system properties
window click the Advanced tab. When the advanced tab window appears click
the Settings button in the Startup and recovery Options section The next
window is the startup and recovery window. Look in the system startup
section for the option 'time to display list of operating systems' Change
the time to 0 (zero) then click ok. In the next window click Apply folowed
by OK to exit. When you next reboot your pc the menu screen will have
disappeared and you will immediately boot to the windows xp desktop.
