Hi, Goto Start>>Run>>Click on Help and Support. If that's not good enough
check out the many books by Microsoft Press.

Go to the nearest bookstore and check their manuals. XP for
Idiots is a good inexpensive one. Sorry about the title but
that is their line. I use Barnes and Noble as my reference
library. They serve good coffee! :-)

Ian,
Well, I've seen XP for Dummies, but for idiots ? Now I know why I couldn't
get much out of the "Dummies" , I needed the other one, for idiots.

Mad Max,
Ditto.....I need the idiots version also. LOL Love this group & all of the
advice, otherwise I would be so very lost!

OK! OK! So I couldn't think of the right name! I had a mental block.
I know it is dummies but typed it to fast. But I was close! :-)

Ian,
Boy, I'm really mad at you. First you tell me there is a book for "idiots",
then you say there isn't. Got my hopes up and now what ? I'm gonna tell
Santa that you've been a baaaaaddd boy. Nothing but sticks for you this year
Ian. :>)

Don't know if there is an "Idiots" book for XP but have seen them for other
programs. Similar to the "Dummies" books - different authors and perhaps a
different publisher too.

SharonF ,
Just a joke , no harm intended. Possibly I shouldn't do things like that ,
since the humor is often lost in translation, or if someone doesn't read the
previous posts too carefully.
Hope you have a happy , happy.
PS. Sorry I didn't see this until today & almost missed it altogether by not
going back far enough.

No problem, Mad Max. After a day of reading technical info, some jokes go
right over my head. Thought you were really looking forward to that book
and didn't want you to be disappointed ;)

Had a merry, merry. Happy, happy will be later this week. Same to you!
