Opens page after page

My IE 6 opens a new page when I click links. The page is fine as far as
content and size, but a new window everytime? The reuse window box is
checked, an I have all the updates. Tried with the Pop up blocker on/off
same thing. On a search last night I ended up with around twenty windows
open. AARRRGGGHHH!

From Start> Run, enter this command then hit Enter
regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll

If you've run IE7 alongside IE6, see this information:

Try reregistering the DLLS mentioned in this article:
