Hope they fixed the nasty little copy-paste bug. I had to type a URL in
manually yesterday, and it was traumatic. :)

OOo 1.1.2 was released 18 June. I wonder why Freshmeat lists its
release as 31 July. Maybe the OOo folks forgot to submit it there?

I've never noticed any bug with copy & paste, and it's not in the big
list of bugfixes between 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. How to reproduce this bug?

In OOo Calc (The spreadsheet) Attempt to place a URL hyperlink in a
cell. Then copy it and paste it elsewhere. Or try to edit it. ARGH!

You may replace : WWW:Jhoodsoft.org
With : WWW.Jhoodsoft.org

Your website is really nice : clean and informative.

Changes:
This is a bugfix release following version 1.1.1.
It hasn't fixed the presentation manager's inability to insert sound
or video in a slideshow. These are still greyed out in the
Insert/Object/ menu.

I haven't tried running a Powerpoint slideshow with sound, but I'm
guessing it won't run under Impress 1.1.2 any more than it did under
the previous release.

a cell. Then copy it and paste it elsewhere. Or try to edit it.
ARGH!

Hmm. I don't have a 1.1.1 installation, but I just checked in 1.1.0.
I can copy and paste them ok, but not edit them. If I turn off the
'URL recognition' feature I can enter them and later edit them, but in
this case they are not clickable links, just text. In a while I will
check how 1.1.2 behaves.

I get the same behavior with 1.1.2.

i have not had any problems with the cut and paste; however, I just
typed out many pages of legal papers for a friend, and I set it at font
14. Periodically, it would jump back to 12, in the middle of a
sentence. Other than that, No problems. I am very impressed. I do
have WordPerfect on my computer, but I prefer Open Office. The only
thing I use Corel for is the Photo House.

I had to do that with over 200 hyperlinks. It gets old really fast.

How did you do the copy/paste. everytime I click-and-drag the selected
link, I end up in La-La land and have to type it in manually.

ctrl+c, ctrl+v to copy and paste them once thery are in an OOo
document.

If I drag-and-drop links from Firefox to OOo Calc, they go in as
uneditable links whether URL recognition is on or off, but not if I
'copy link location' in Fx then paste into OOO.
