OpenNETCF.Diagnostics in 1.4

I have tried the steps listed in the OpenNETCF forums, but I can't seem to
get the eventlog items setup right.

From the forums it appears that I will have to multithread the app, no
problem, but there aren't any good examples that I have seen for creating an
XML (or even text) based eventlog. I'm probably just missing
something...

If anyone can point me at resources that can help me figure this out, I
would greatly appreciate it.

What're you trying to do what kind of problems are you having?

I am trying to figure out how to do it. None of the code bits I have seen
even come close to working in any kind of test I mock up.

I can't even get a Form w/ button that writes a log entry to work, If I can
get that, I can do what I need from there.

So, I am scrapping all code related to this that I have, and asking if
someone out there w/ more experience on this than I, to throw me a bone.

The EventLog class in the OpenNETCF.Diagnostic was designed to closely match
of the the EventLog available in the desktop .NET.

So, you can use the code from the MSDN docs.

Otherwise it as simple as that:

EventLog eventLog = new EventLog("RssLog", "FeedHttpConnection",
EventLogWriterType.XML);


.....

eventLog.WriteEntry("Some message");

This should get you started.
