Opening Windows Movie Maker

I open Win Movie Maker, but within seconds I get a message that there's an error - it doen't specify the error - and the message gives me the option to send to MS or not. Of course, I send.

I 've downloaded the program again, but I encounter the same problem.

On my desktop PC, I have the same problem. Hence, on my laptop and desktop PC, I cannot go forward.

I'm operating XP Home on the desktop and XP Pro on my laptop.

Help!
