Hi, we use a system at work which stores TIF files on a server which can be
retrieved via a Intranet Page.
When you click on the tif file in the page you get the usual open, save or
cancel button. When you click save and choose where you want to save it, it
saves fine, and you can then go and open it.
If you choose open, it will show the downloading dialogue box, and the
little file moving across the screen, and that is where it stays unless you
cancel it. There is no details about the file regarding size or download
speed.
This is happening on several machines, and the browsers can be IE 5.5 or 6,
there doesn't seem to be any common denominator.
Can anyone help please, as this is becoming a rather large problem as it is
affecting more and more users.
Thanks
Christine
