On my office computer (Windows XP-broadband connection) I can open
www.blueangels.navy.mil with IE6

On my home computer (WindowsXP-broadband connection) I cannot open the site
with either IE6 or Firefox. The connection times out.

Hi,
First, clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete
files (and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) And while you're
there... it's often recommended that the TIF folder be kept at about 50 MB
(Settings.)

Next... Open a CMD window (from Start> Run> CMD) and enter
ipconfig /flushdns
Hit Enter.

A complete shutdown (powerdown for a few minutes) of modem, router and
computers is worth a try.

Hope this helps,
Don

I tried all suggested, but to no avail. I appreciate the knowledge though.

Hi,
Try http://199.211.210.139/ If you can reach the site using it's IP Address,
the problem is probably with your ISP. Perhaps a problem with their DNS
lookup.

As normal, the connection timed out. Thanks again for your efforts.
