This happens every time I try to access the Security Center. I have AVG 7.5
installed, but the Resident Shield won't load. Any one else encountered this?

I had the Resident Shield problem only for a couple times. I opened up the
Control Center and manually played with it and somehow it started working
all of the time. Whatever.

Yeah, every time I try to access the Security Center, windows host (rundll32)
crashes. And whenever I try to access the Control Panel, Windows Explorer
crashes. I sure made a mistake upgrading to Vista.

My response was to the AVG problem. As far as the Vista problem is
concerned, you have a gremlin in your system. I personally have had Zero
problems with Vista. I have had some compatibility problems with my decade
old software and hardware. But that was to be expected.

For Vista I suspect that a clean install would be your best bet. Back up
your data on CD. Format your C: drive and reinstall Vista. I doubt that
you will have any further problems at that point.
