We used the wizard when creating buttons on forms which
open reports. These used to work, but now Access closes
when we click on the buttons in several of our databases.
Does anyone know if this was caused from a Windows
Update? Please Help. The only way to open the reports now
is to close the form and manually choose the report.

Thanks!
Emmy

There are several possible things here.

1. Name AutoCorrect
Uncheck the boxes under Tools | Options | General | Name AutoCorrect.
Then compact the database.

2. Corruption
If #1 does not fix the problem, the database may be partially corrupt. Try
creating a new (blank) database, turning off Name AutoCorrect, and then
importing all the objects: File | Get External | Import. More information on
recovering from corruption:

The service packs will not cause the problem. In fact, it would be a very
good idea to go to support.microsoft.com and make sure you have the latest
service pack for you version of Office, and also for JET 4.
