I have stored "backup" outlook 'pst' files on a cd using an older operating system (Windows 98). Which has no problem opening them.
When I attempt, I cannot open or even view them with XP. When I click on the cd drive it shows the cd capacity and free space but does not display any files on the cd.
Someone told me that there is a conversion tool to convert pst to a XP acceptable format.
Does anyone know about this?
How/where does one go to get it?
Is there another way to access pst files with windows xp?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried importing them?
You should really ask in the Outlook newsgroup from the people that support
Outlook.
