I took a back up of PST file (Copy paste) on CD. Once I
again copied it back to HD and tried opening it from Open
Personal Folders (.pst file) option on File Menu, it is
adding standard outlook folders with no messages in them.
It is not adding my customized folders inspite of size of
being 590 MB. I never faced this problem everr. I have
done this kind of thing 4-5 times but for the first time I
am facing this problem. I tried searching on Net for its
solution. Same problem has been faced by lot of other
people but none of them got any satisfactory solution. See
if any of you can help
Thanks
regards

Try running the Inbox Repair Tool against your .PST file to see if it finds
any errors. Search your drive for a file called scanpst.exe and run it.
Allow the tool to create a backup of your file before it repairs anything.

Make sure the file isn't marked as "Read Only" as well.
