I am having trouble opening an attachment with a .PPS extension in an email
in Windows Mail. When I click on the attachment, I get the dialog box
whether to open it or not. The box indicates that it recognizes it as a
PowerPoint presentation. However when I open it, I get the error message
that there is not a program associated with this file type. However, when I
go into the "set associations" activity in Windows Vista, the .PPS extension
is listed and Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer is the program associated
with it.

I can save it to my hard drive, and open it successfully via explorer.

Any ideas?

Thank you!! SUCCESS!!

I've been reading all the help texts I could find and couldn't find a
resolution. I truly appreciate your help!
