I'm attempting to open PowerPoint files created in an old version of
PowerPoint in PowerPoint 2003 (O/S = Windows XP Pro) with Office SP3
installed. The instructions from Microsoft direct me to edit my registry.
However, the keys that I need to update are missing from my registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\Security\FileOpenBlock
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\Security\FileOpenBlock
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
