The reason I want to know is this port 3050 is the default port of Firebird
database server.
I would like to access the office database server from my home computer
using an application written in programming language, ie Delphi..
The component in my application connect to office machine by the IP,
database name, database username, database password.
It seems cannot connect to the office Firebird database.
However, I can use the same application inside my office, ie LAN, no
problem.
