I have been sent some .pfd files (definitely not PDF
files). These are supposed to be copies of process maps
that I would like to view. However, I am unable to open
these files. Have tried saving these as PDF files but that
doesnt work as well. Also trid using IE, Word etc to open
but no joy. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Not really sure if this'll help, but I seem to remember that Intergraph PDS
uses a .pfd extension for its Process Flow Diagrams. Does this fit with what
you're looking for? If so, you may need to consult your CAD group to view
them in Microstation or PDS2D.

Ask the person who sent you the files what app they used to create them. You
will need to be running the same app or something else that can view these
files. You can't just save the files with different extensions & expect them
to work with the "wrong" app.
