I occasionally want to open a window multiple times from a search engines
results to see if changes I have made have taken effect, instead of
refreshing the page. My question is after opening the page I move it to the
side of my monitor, close it , reopen it and again move it to the side of my
monitor.
Is there a setting when opening or clicking on links to have thenm placed
on certain sides or positions on my monitor?

The position of the window is based upon the last IE window you had open,
and all windows use the same settings.
