Whenever I enter Outlook, after a few seconds I get a panel called 'Enter
network password'. It appears to have the 'Server' box already completed,
with 'mail.btopenworld.com', and my 'Username' of '(e-mail address removed)',
and a string of 'Password' asterisks. However, when I click on 'OK' the same
panel returns, indicating that one of those is incorrect. How, please, do I
establish the correct info' for those boxes?

Thanks.

Is this a new problem?
Did it work previously in this unknown version of outlook on this unknown
version of win?

And if thats your real addy, bad move you will now be inundated with spam

No, it's not new, I've just been putting up with it for a long while, but now
wish to sort it. It's never opened without this 'panel' coming up.

And no, it's not my real 'address'.

The "correct" info would be your email-address and email-password.
Note: your email address would not usually end in @btbroadband.com -
For BT domestic customers it is usually <something>@btinternet.com,
and for business customers is is <something>@btconnect.com.

If you don't have the correct settings, you should contact BT, who
will be able to assist.
