Jimmy G.

I would like a new window to open when I click on a link so as my existing
window doesn't close. Using ie6, I've searched :Tools>Internet
Options>Advanced. I can't seem to find what I should check. A little help
sure would be appreciated. Or am I looking for the little button that isn't
there?

Many Thanks

This setting will help in some, but not all, situations. From IE> Tools>
Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows for launching
shortcuts." That should help when clicking on a Favorite or a link in
e-mail.

For links on webpages you should depress the Shift key when clicking the
link.

Hope this helps,
Don

Hi Jimmy :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Open Multiple Windows In IE

To keep more than one browser window open at a time, click File in the main
menu, select New, then Window. To close a browser window, click the X in the
top right-hand corner or select Close from the File menu. You can also open
a new browser window with Ctrl+N.

Try these steps:
Open IE, tools, internet options.
Select Advanced tab and click the [restore defaults] button.
Later, select the Programs and click the [reset web settings] button.
